Food was delicious and the service was great. Had a special on local beers. My husband got to try a couple of samples before he ordered. My only disappointment was the ladies washroom had two toilets out of service. They only had three toilets in total. For a restaurant this is not acceptable. Other than that I would recommend the restaurant for the food and the friendly wait staff. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Original Joe's:
Personally, I won't go here anymore. It takes forever for them to make your meal and then it comes to you cold or lukewarm. It's very unpredictable. You might luck out and get a hot meal and then you might like it. I love their dill dip but I have been disappointed too many times to go back. View all feedback.

We had not been to Original Joes for sometime and we had heard that they had changed the menu. So we started with the Dynamite Tempura Shrimp. Regularly 16.95 but $1.00 off for happy hour (3-6pm). When ordering something like this I would typically expect about 8 Shrimp but to my surprise there was a full 16 shrimp of nice size topped with a spicy chili aioli, unagi sauce & togarashi. . They were not greasy, they were perfectly cooked and the sauces were a perfect compliment...simply awesome had I known I could have ordered two of these for myself and called it a meal. Fantastic value. My wife had the 1 lb salt and vinegar chicken wings...cant go wrong here...very good not as good as value as the shrimp...but I may be biased here.We followed this with the Jalapeno Mac and Cheese for the misses and I had the baked lasagna. All of it tasted very fresh not precooked or frozen. Very tasty. The portions of the Mac and Cheese and Lasagna are not huge, that said I did fill up on the shrimp and ended up taking some lasagna home. If I only had the lasagna I may have not been fully satisfied. They of course have a good selection of craft beer and nothing goes better with tempura shrimp than Hoynes Dark Matter....the wife drove and had iced tea which she also enjoyed.Forgive my photos, I wish I would have taken the shrimp pic before I started digging in, but seriously I was so blown away by the size and visual appearance I lost my head and started eating...unfortunately I repeated this for every dish. My photos do not do them justice!!Summary, previously I was not a huge fan of Original Joes, but these appies and mains will bring me back again. Not to mention the excellent customer service from very attentive staff. Very well done.
This is just the most mediocre restaurant ever. I got a cob salad and it was really disappointing. The turkey on top looked like dog food and was really only suitable for making soup or pot pie. They forgot the bacon. When I asked, the waitress brought over a tiny plate of low quality bacon for me to dump on top. They only gave me a tiny bit of avocado, so basically I payed $17 for lettuce. I was starving so I ate it. My husband had fish tacos and said they were equally disappointing. Kids had chicken strips and a burger. Whole thing cost me $85. And it was just garbage quality food. The service was fine, but I was still surprised how busy this place was. Maybe better for beers and wings.
Wait about 10 minutes to get in. Several bid screens tv's were on featuring playoff hockey. About $15 for burger and two sides. Fish tacos include 2 tacos ( used to be 3). Food was ok but not outstanding service was attentive. About $50 for three at dinner not including drinks.
Another ok place to eat ion the westshore. The food is over priced as is often the case with chain eaterys. Nice for a drink and a appy
