"Came on recommendation and will be back. There were a few dishes that we weren’t too familiar with but the staff are very knowledgeable and helped us out. <br/ <br/ Food is delicious; beautifully cooked and seasoned, but very rich and saucy so be sure to get a glass of ouzo with your meal, it will cut through beautifully."

"5 . We have eaten all of the world including three Michelin star restaurants, this is one of the best food experiences. The food was inventive, delicious and celebrated NZ cuisine like no other. (Amisfield is close). The service is the best we’ve experienced in NZ. The flow is seamless. We can’t wait to go back. An experience you will never forget. The best in NZ by a long long way."

"Went there on Saturday for my daughter's birthday. Our 1st time dining in a proper Japanese restaurant. Sushami was fresh, food yummy and excellent customer service. Our server Shuta was wonderful, friendly and helpful. I had forgotten to ask when we came in if we could organize a birthday dessert for my daughter, so when we ordered our desserts I mentioned this and asked for a small bowl of ice cream as that's all she wanted. He was very friendly and said that's ok on the house. They bought out a lovely plate with Happy Birthday written on it in chocolate with some ice cream and a piece of brownie. Definitely will go back. Best experience in a restaurant I've had in a long time."
