"It was a warm day and an umbrella was available to use for shade as I waited to place my order. I had a polite young lady take my order and received it in a reasonable amount of time. Although this wasn't the best açaí bowl I ever had, I am satisfied with its presentation and flavor. I would definitely come back."

"Found Hula Cookie when we departed on a snorkeling tour and basically declared this as a must when we returned. So glad we did too! The staff, service and shop were excellent. The menu is an ice cream and cookie lovers dream. My husband and I were easily able to share one ice cream cookie sandwich. We ordered one of the signature creations, and we were not disappointed. Two warm cookies sandwiched between premium ice cream, you just can't go wrong. Now, I am not sure this is anon-dairy friendly establishment, but they do also serve shaved ice and espresso items as well. Overall, just make sure to stop here if your Hawaiian journey brings you through Maalaea."

"Small and cozy restaurant a bit out of the way, but worth the trip. Tables were socially removed and the place itself is open air. You ask you to use hand-sanitary on the door before you enter. Vegan empanadas were so good that we could go a few. The cauliflower chicken bread was crispy and the beans/beans combo was well seasoned. Baked plantains had a great crunch, but the diving sauce was not vegan. We used the Aioli from the Empanadas instead. Yumm. Friendly staff and only great vibes"

"Nice find on our first visit to Maui. Wait for the food once ordered was a bit long but understandable given the number of diners and take-out orders. Everything was delicious but I especially enjoyed the Macadamia Nut Penang Curry with braised short ribs. Heavenly! Highly recommend!"

"This place was awesome! The lady was very helpful. I got the Fresh Fish Tacos. They were really good. We had to try the bread pudding and was impressed. Now the mambo fries were bomb! I would get those for sure. The waitress was really helpful in providing us recommendations for us to do. All in all a great experience! I would recommend this place highly to a friend!"

"Very delicious bakery! Had sandwiches and pizza options as well. I got the ruben sandwich and the taste was just right, not over powering. Masks are required inside, but can be removed when sitting outdoors. Cookies and pastries are delicious, ask for the ones freshly baked that day for extra freshness."
