"As someone with allergies, I was told a meal that didnât have any dairy in it destroyed my stomach. The quality of the food did not justify the high prices. Cocktails were subpar. The view was beautiful on the water and the staff was friendly."

"We were looking for late lunch after a drive up to Haleakala and saw the reviews for My Thai. Although it is unusual in concept, once we were seated and the host explained the process, it was a fun adventure. The menu and all dishes ordered were amazing. Do not miss the orange chicken bao bun. We ordered a wide variety of dishes and all of them were excellent. Our only quibble is with an online menu accessed on our iPhones by QR code. Although we have eaten in restaurants with the same process-and honestly do not like it- this one was a little better designed but didn’t download in the same way on all our phones so we had some trouble putting together an order for three people. with disparate displays). Once that was successfully done, one’s meal is announced on mic and left on a counter for the customer to pick up. All plates are prepared as for takeout so paper containers, paper towels for napkin, etc. Overall, it’s takeout that must be ordered onsite. Tables are spaced far apart, in an open garage so very Covid compliant. So; novel concept with an amazing menu and food."

"Got coffee and Acai. Coffee straight up tasted like kettle coffee, the added milk also just tasted weird blended together. "So we hopped on the plane to Maui as soon as the inter island quarantine lifted for residents. Had to get the honey fried chicken here! Love love it! Just a hint of sweetness and fried to perfection. Enough for two of us to share. Didn't get the burger but saw other people had and it looked yum! Food truck so we took our loot to a park to chow down. Gotta go here folks!"

"Beware...saw rats running around! While smoking outside of Umi, noticed large holes in window screens by kitchen. Parking is much to be desired none existing. Waitress was rude busy? Waste of time and money."
