often visited when I lived in the opposite. very solid food and a good wine list. the bar area is always very lively and loud, while the restaurant area is quieter and you can really hear yourself. service was always very attentive, never really disappointed. in summer there is a beautiful outdoor area directly at the river. Sunday roast was a good portion, Yorkshire pudding was nice and the mash underneath the beef. The beef cut wasn’t the best. Overall I enjoyed the pub roast, of course doesn’t beat a home roast but it’s convenient. The seating outside felt you were practically sitting on top of your neighbour.
