"I stayed at the Hog Hotel with my 2 children, aged 12 and 9, and our 1 year old cockapoo. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our room was presented to a very high standard. I have no problem recommending this Hotel."

"Excellent food qulaity as top chef here as the food is always top notch. Lovely staff and food is at great prices, Only downside is I would advice to book rather that just walk in often fully booked at weekends. Best restaurant in Beccles...!"

"Found this marvellous chippy the other day at 3pm, when all the other ones in the area were shut. The portions are massive, the quality is excellent with friendly staff. They do scraps here too, I asked for these at another chippy in the area which I won't name and just got stared at. Also I was told at another chippy, which had closed just before I got there that day, that there wasn't anywhere else open. I intend to use this chippy exclusively from now on, you have free parking for half an hour right outside so why go anywhere else?? Great service, great portions and open all day. Why go anywhere else??"

"Very poor service. I hadn’t visited this cafe before and wanted to try it. Ordered our food (sausage and egg breakfast bap) and waited patiently for 30 mins. We were a handful of the people in the cafe so I asked at the counter if it was on its way. The response I got was “it got lost”. 10 mins later the food arrived. After waiting 40 mins for this I was disappointed when the waitress came over for payment and overcharged for food we didn’t have. No apology or customer service. Wouldn’t recommend here try some of the other cafes in Southwold (better value and better service)"

"Enzo, you pizzagenie. their pizzas are incredible. the sauce is ridiculously tasteful, can I have the recipe!? tipp: make sure to call on the midday to guarantee a slot (during the corona times.) it is a popular man! I'll be back safely if we ever return to southwold and hopefully we will be eating in his beautiful restaurant of a day. but take on the beach is also beautiful! thank you, enzo!"
