We had such a fabulous 50th birthday celebration with family and friends. We hired the bar area which was great for dancing and the adjoining open room. Lots of character and a great atmosphere with fairy lights and candles. The room led outside to a...lovely seating area which we enjoyed as well. Johnny the chef was very amenable. Roast beef we were told was rare. I’ve had rare beef and prefer it that was but this was awful. Two of us had beef and it was inedible,chewy and impossible to even cut, I have never spat food into a napkin in a restaurant. We did mention this and were told “sorry about that.
