Staff were lovely but when I started chatting to the land lady she seemed to think of herself as the Peggy Mitchell of the village, rather rude and it dampened the experience of a otherwise lovely pub, it is a shame one person can change the whole atmosphere and I would also like to say the food is very expensive for the portion size. Great evening, great food, very friendly service. The children's pizzas were too spicy but it was very quickly sorted and both were very happy.
