a well known fish and chips house in Horsehoe bay which sit on prime waterfront locationfantastic view of the harbor is the key selling point here.
my friends and i were visiting horseshoe bay on victoria day, and we were told we had to check out troll’s for food.

"Amazing amazing amazing food love it. No words to describe it?? I?m a guy who eats heathy bowls every day. I like to try different restaurants. I?ve never been to Field and Social but I ordered like twice from SkipTheDishes and They?ve provided me with great food and fresh?? It?s damn tasty and healthy. Must visit????????"

"The food here is amazing however the Broadway location is not equipped for large parties. We had 9 people and was told we would be able to sit together but on separate tables. Unfortunately the tables were really far apart and those on the ends of the table could not talk to each other until after dinner. Aside from that, our dinner itself was good. I ordered the cheese Katsu with a side of curry to share with my husband. Miso soup and salad is refillable and we ordered it twice. Add the curry, you won't regret it :"

"I have to say, one of the most delicious restaurants I have tried in Vancouver! I tried it on a whim as there was a promo on the food delivery apps, and am so glad I tried! I got the Coastal Macro bowl, the Turmeric Laksa bowl, and the Kokomo Açai bowl. To be honest I expected the macro to be my fave based on reviews but the Laksa absolutely blew me away! Absolutely flavourful, hearty, full of fresh ingredients. Probably the tastiest thing I’ve eaten in a month lol! The Macro was also good, but the Laksa was amazing. The Açai bowl I’m still working on and to be honest I had only added it as an add-on to make the minimum order amount for the delivery app promo lol) but similarly I am very impressed with the freshness of ingredients and great taste.My only suggestion is that the portion sizes especially on Laksa) seem kind of small—the takeout container photo is from when it arrived and you can see that it is filled below the half way line, especially compared to how full the macro bowl looks : I am not sure if they maybe accidentally gave me a half portion instead?However, even with the smaller than expected proportion, I still rate the order 5/5 stars because the taste and freshness was fantastic, and the order arrived super quick I made sure to tip the delivery driver extra). Delicious food, unique flavour, and one of few plant based options that don’t feel too oily or fried or processed. Highly recommend, even for people who don’t normally eat plant based!"

"I always find that eating here really healthy and fresh. reasonably expensive. EDIT:Beloved this place, always beautifully presented and the new wraps they added in the menu slap. serious amounts of taste."
