"Fish and Chips were fresh and some of the best we had while visiting many restaurants in Alaska. The Clam Chowder was delicious. We tried to get lunch the very next day and they were packed with a line out the door. We couldn't wait...bummer! This place is a gem and the service was top notch! Great local beer selection as well!"

"Service and flavors need improvement. Definitely the nicest place to stay in Whittier. Good views, nice atmosphere, and very clean. The restaurant, however, leaves much to be desired. While the beer and wine list was good, the food and service were disappointing. I had dinner with my boyfriend here, and our waiter did not do a good job at all of telling us about the specials... in fact it seemed like he just made up the info rather than taking the time to really know what the specials were. The menu has ambition, but the flavors did not mesh well- kind of like the chef was trying so hard to impress with the presentation that he didn't stop to think about the taste. There are better places to eat in Whittier, but this is a nice place to stay or to stop in for a drink."

"Had a nice breakfast of eggs, reindeer sausage, and hash browns. Was plenty of seating in the dining area at 8am. Nice view out the windows.Parking: A few spots in front of the restaurant. Not a far walk from the paid parking lot, though."

"One of the best Halibut and chips. Please try if you explore this area. Quite busy at lunch time. No problem if you are not in a hurry, because you can enjoy the beautiful scenery behind the restaurant area. Recommended for all families.
