"The evaluation of the food is strictly limited to what I ate, of course. Strange fact , we go in for lunch, we are told CLOSED and he shows us other fast food restaurants in the area. "We did not stay overnight as we were camping nearby, we went for an evening meal. We found the food superb , could not fault at all ! "The Portland Hotel was our first stop over on our tour of Scotland . After 611 miles from leaving mid Wales at 2 am, our stay at the Portland was perfect for us . My farther is 75 and loved our stay , our room was spotless and so comfy, our food was delicious and we were cared for by wonderful staff."

"Very good food. It was quickly prepared even though it was a sudden rush of customers. Easy access while driving. Toilets have no baby change BTW, but otherwise decent. Vegeburger is great. Fish and chips also great."
