This was our second visit to the King and Castle and being fans of Wetherspoons we were expecting big things. The building is a good size and spread over three floors, So when you enter from the main Street don't be put off if it looks busy. There is an upstairs and a downstairs eating areas. Really beautiful spoons. It has three floors and the garden is huge. Only real drawback is the amount of stairs really. The price is slightly higher than your average spoon, but it is a chic one in front of the castle, so is expected.
Loved the location, hated the boring Doom Bar beer! Loved the beer garden... food good, service staff beautiful!

Nice, big. friendly pub with a good food selection. Fantastic prices too. 4 meals. 4 drinks, just over £40. Bargain
Out for a walk and popped in for some lunch. Food and service were excellent. Great value for money.
