What Clarissa Prosacco doesn't like about Calypso Grill:
It was a nice little restaurant, but the food was definitely quite bland. I wouldn’t recommend the plantains, as they were pretty tough. Overall, the dishes lacked seasoning, although I did enjoy my jackfruit meal once I added some salt and the aji salsa. I’ll give them three stars for at least offering one option for vegan diners. Now, let's talk about the food. I was amazed by the extensive vegan options on the menu (there were also many gluten-free choices)!
