"Food was super fresh , very simple Portuguese fair . The restaurant looks a little underwhelming because of its location down a little street with not much of a view of anything except the trucks parked in front . Food and wine prices were incredibly reasonable"

"We arrived today at 3pm hoping for some sardines. Unfortunately the BBQ was closed down after the lunch session but they could not have tried harder to give us a good meal. After some hilarious misunderstandings due to our poor Portuguese we ended with a bitoque each with salad and amazing red hot chips (a rare treat for me). With starter, coffee and beer the whole lot was €19 only, and served by some very friendly and helpful people. My second visit there but not my last."

"An amazing location to sit and watch the harbour. eating is also very good, a mix of some local materials, including local seafood, with a bit of British influence from the owner. the service was excellent, and all small touches were pleasant. they added in a round table to accommodate all who wanted to eat. would definitely recommend for a relaxed, good meal."

"People, if you want to advertise hand cutting chips, then you need to serve them (and not frozen) because it is the culinary experience. overall it was a bad day in the office' after sitting it took one to get the menus, then my order was wrong, we had to ask for salt and vinegar, the wee had no bottle of chiller jacket and to cover everything we were overloaded (resolved). it is not my first time here and as a resident of lagos I will come back sometime because the fish is fab, but they must get the detail right!"

"Been going to Mullens in Lagos since 1990!! It is a former bodega now a bar and restaurant. Great atmosphere, reasonable prices and great food. Chicken piri piri is great. Slightly quirky place where they play jazzy music in the background and have a cosmopolitan range of staff young men and women from various different parts of the world. It is owned by a Scottish Portuguese family who play a very active role in the management and are very visible on the ground. It's great for all to eat in, couples, singles and people with kids. We've been to Lagos about a dozen times or more have would never dream of a week there without going to Mullens at least twice. Everyone I've ever recommended to go there (and there have been many! has given it a major thumbs up. During busy season you probably need to book it if you want to eat there. Great atmosphere, music, staff and food. All very lay back. Have a look definitely."

"That was a super nice restaurant, good food and fish. the waiting line was long, but quickly moved. all good eating wise but the great disappointment was however the conditions of the dog. it is a great good young who lives near the pool behind the restaurant. probably a guarding dog. such a nice big boy. but it seems that he is in great pain due to the great ingrown nails that are terrible and to go slowly due to the pain. could someone please watch the dog from the personal? if the owner cannot afford to cover medical costs, the restaurant might put a donation box on the entrance. only very sad and heartbeat"
