"My meal was a pho with beef eye fillet and tendon. My god! it was the best pho I've had! It's a small place and the food is relatively cheap but the servings are on the smaller side. I think mainly because of the higher...quality of ingredients (eye fillet). I can't believe this place doesn't have at least 4-4.5 stars. Yes the decor is a bit worn but hey it's a pho restaurant not fine dining. What do you expect??"

"When they order a dish, they expect it to come out as it is in the menu. I ordered chicken, squid prawn noodles. the plate on which it came out has oily fingerprints on the whole rim. it was tasteless and very oily. I asked. the waitress about it, and she took my fork and dug me in my teller until she found the prawn angry that she had found the 1 prawn that was there. she wanted to pay and did not even greet me or pay me the total amount. only rude and unnecessary."

"Stumbled upon Dong Ba and recalled the name from a recent review discussion. Unbeknownst to me at the time of entry, this particular outlet was their first, and according to the Aunty at the counter, the best one of the lot!<br>

We arrived at 2pm so the lunch crowd had long gone and staff were prepping for dinner service. In my haste, and having not received much help from the waitress who spoke very limited English, I ordered the first dish on the menu. Luckily this turned out to be their signature, and the one I had intended to try. <br>

The noodles are not your standard flat rice noodles. These are reminiscent of spaghetti, albeit made of rice, and had a surprisingly similar texture. Not sure if I prefer these over the traditional kind, but I definitely love the addition of pork hock, blood jelly and pork sausage. All the wonderful things of life in one bowl really. <br>

A slight hint of lemongrass really accentuated the multidimensional flavours of the broth and cut through the richness of the meats. I opted for a chilli free version, and in hindsight totally regretted copping out of what could have been an even better bowl of hearty soup. <br>

Although large and commanding in size, I finished the whole meal without even breaking a sweat. This was very odd considering I wasn't hungry to begin with. Maybe the secret is in the shape of the noodles. What a cheap and cheerful way to meet Bun Bo Hue!"

"Fresh, delicious, cheap Vietnamese food. Interior is basic, but the food definitely makes up for this. I had the pork and spring roll vermicelli salad which was nicer than more expensive ones I've have had in the city centre."

"As we talked into the place we saw that this place was not busy, there was another restaurant that was busy next ro Pho Tau Bay. At first I was so surprised that the pho was a bit overpriced, usually its around 10 - 13 dollars. But in this place is 16 - 17 dollars, going to be honest. There are better place to get pho, this place is just okay, a bit below adverage.<br>

Nothing much about the place, as you enter the place it was really quiet. The owner greet us with a smile and shown us where to seat. Not going to complain about the portion, they give you a lot of meat and beef balls if you order Pho rare beef with beef balls. Also the noodles was overcooked when I order my pho."

"Whenever I'm feeling like Cambodian food, this is the place to go to! I have been going here for awhile now and the service is quick. I recommend the Phnom Penh noodles! Full of authentic flavour. Good customers service and the food comes out pretty quick yet affordable."
