"The gift of a clearly labeled menu! Hello Beasty offers a separate dedicated Vegetarian menu which indicates what is and can be made vegan. We tried and shared many things, the standout being the grilled mushroom and mung bean pancake! Fantastic spice and flavors here, great location right on the water."

"If you are going to offer Italian food under the name of an Italian restaurant, you need to be able to cook Italian. The gnocchi was disgusting, with chunks of tinned tomato pieces, and powdery. The lasagne floated in a pool of tomato sauce (no Italian does that), and the bolognese was bland. Very disappointing. Kid-friendliness: Not at all Parking: Insufficient Wheelchair accessibility: None"

"I have been to Mezze Bar before, but the hospitality I got this time was par excellence. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. It was my husbands birthday and they made it special by getting our desert with candles (a surprise to my husband). Anyways there Kofte kebabs were so good and so were there potato wedges for the sides. Would love to go again"

"Hallertau remains my favourite restaurant and we have been coming here for many many years. Our service today was friendly and so efficient the food came out super fast the food itself was divine. Recommended by our waiter, the mushroom pizza is a must!!! The atmosphere is always great with music playing and a lovely courtyard. Dog friendly too "

"Had dinner here last night. Staff are friendly. Excellent service. The food was delicious. We had the lamb shoulder, goat Suniya and the chicken. Loved every bit of it. The variety of salads available was really nice. For dessert we had the middle eastern platter, maahmoul, mint tea and the Arab coffee. We loved all of it except the custard that was part of the platter was not to our taste) . <br/>Will definitely be back yo try their other dishes and will be recommending to other as well"

"Excellent restaurant! For over 20 years we've come to this restaurant. We love this restaurant so much. The food is consistently delicious! We are treated like family members! The employees and owners welcome us with names, the employees rarely change, they remember what we like on the menu. The best spicy Szechuan style salt and pepper chili dishes: squid, shrimp and tofu, and mixed Chinese vegetable dishes. Feeds vegans and meat eaters alike. Great for small children, families and Fussy-Esser! Converts our brother, the little Macdonalds Kid was at that time a Chinese foodie! Very recommended! A "

"We had my son's 21st birthday for 30 people and the $50 per head menu and a welcoming prosecco cocktail. Such a fun night. Everything was excellent! The booking process was so easy and welcoming.The food portions were a great size and tasty. Our waitress was amazing and gave us so much attention. The indoor outdoor combo area was perfect and even a big screen TV for the slide show. Would highly recommend!"

"We got the sweet and sour chicken dish here for take away and it was MASSIVE! It says it feeds two but it could easily feed four. It was so good we ate it cold for breakfast on our way back to Tauranga the next day!"
