Enter Mexico... <br/ <br/ Having visited their Takapuna store many times there is a comfort in knowing what you are about to order and eat.<br/ <br/ We are welcomed into the restaurant and seated by our friendly waitress. We place our order didn’t really need to look at the menu) afternoon snack of Mexico Fried Chicken, one of their speciality’s. Food arrives shortly there after and it’s exactly what the doctor ordered. "This was our first trip back since the change of ownership. The dining room is still relaxed yet sophisticated, the service was excellent as you would expect. I enjoyed the a la carte dining instead of the degustation for a change. The standard of the food was excellent in my opinion, highlights for me were the venison tartare with walnuts (amazing combination) and the wagyu beef. Sid at the French Cafe is forging on with a slightly different style but maintains the high standards of the original"

"My family and I are staying in Auckland (Saint Mary's Bay) for a week on holidays. I ate dinner at Dr Rudi's tonight, the food was amazing we ordered the 3ft meat lovers pizza to share. Our server for the evening was Nenah who is lovely, she was full of information and smiles. Nenah has great customer service skills with attention to detail. I highly recommend Dr Rudi's for your next visit to Auckland."

"Was definite a happy meal. Beef Wellington was cooked just well. It was my first time trying fresh oyster. It was fresh and creamy. The appetiser was duck, which I thought was over cooked. At the balcony, the view was fabulous."
