"Went here during my last couple days in Ixtapa. Fireball has great food for any occasion and a friendly staff that will treat you right. The coconut shrimp with mango sauce is my favorite. Also, the skirt steak tacos are a very good meal. A friend had the bacon cheeseburger and enjoyed that. Said it tasted more like back home. This little spot is surely worth a visit. The owners just concocted some Fireball ice cream for the desert menu...great little treat after a hot day at the beach."

"The manager was there all the time. Very good food, wines, and service. Totally worth a visit. The house white wine was delicious and the pasta was great. A good variety of dishes and liquors."

"We stopped for a drink early one afternoon. Our waiter served us our drink and then never returned to the table. In fact, we had to get up to leave before he came running over with the bill (we had left money on the table). Not sure if the service might have been better if we had ordered food, but I'm not sure we are willing to give it a try!"

"If you want superb seafood at very reasonable prices, venture into the city and find El Rincon! The shrimp tower is delicious as are the superb tiritas, everything we 've had there is tasty and very fresh with big servings. Service is warm welcoming, family style. Its a good place to bring kids or have a party. Its upstairs above the noise of the street, all open so it can be warm during the day. There is street parking around the block usually, but be prepared to walk a bit and negotiate the steep stairs up, if you have any mobility-impaired folks."

"We stumbled across this place because of the menu outside. The restaurant is small and the servers attentive. The views are spectacular! The food was also delicious (guacamole, ceviche, tacos, red snapper). If only we had longer - we would have returned for sure."

"Having walked Playa la Ropa for a 2 week vacation for the last 15 years, it’s surprising we had not eaten at DP before. We finally tried it for lunch and we were sorely disappointed. Nothing we ate was all that good, the service was...slow, and we all ordered 5 different dishes. My son, a non-drinker, ordered fish tacos, and 12 hours later was extremely ill. He mentioned they had tasted a bit odd, but unfortunately did not listen to his own radar. I would not recommend this place, for sure."
