"A single skalopp for the appetizer was quite laborious, and the mayonnaise drops for the dressing were amateurish. the bark was good, but again very small. cheesecake dessert was spectacular, but that could have been the half of the size."

"Ordered from Skip the Dishes and was delivered the wrong order. Handi asked us to send the driver back to the restaurant to pick up the correct order, 1 hour later and still no food. Apparently the driver did not return to the restaurant because our food was still sitting there, COLD. You'd think after an hour Handi would have called us. There was no manager and the server seemed to be making up percentages that he would discount a future order. Meal was well bellow average and service was horrible so we will not be ordering from them again. Thankfully Skip the Dishes gave us a refund because Handi didn't."

"Let's get one thing straight. This is my kind of restaurant. Having lived in the Far East for over 15 years, including Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo, I despaired of finding a really good Thai restaurant in the wilds of the north shore. Excellent sushi restaurants there are aplenty, delicious Chinese food is not uncommon but Thai food, real Thai food is a rarity indeed. So you will understand my enthusiasm for Thai Pudong.We discovered this little gem when we first arrived in West Van three years ago. Drawn to it by its conscious lack of decor and it's evident popularity with locals it did not take long for it to become our favourite Thai restaurant in Vancouver. The slightly shabby décor is reminiscent of eating in restaurants in Phuket in the early 80s, but the food takes me right back to eating in Bangkok over the past two decades. Simply delicious and properly priced. The service is efficient and courteous and cordial and most importantly always unobtrusive. The reliably abbreviated menu is full of our favourite Thai dishes which invariably arrive piping hot and freshly made. The salads are excellent with the freshest ingredients dressed with subtle combinations of herbs and spices. This is what Thai food should be, fresh, unfussy, wonderfully spiced and instantly approachable. We ate there last on a Friday night and the place was packed with happy and convivial diners. (At least two parties were disappointed having arrived to find no tables available). West Vancouver's dining scene is extremely competitive. Thai Pudong’s longevity and popularity are testimony to its excellence."

"Didn't know I could find bubble tea in West Vancouver, let alone GREAT bubble tea.The staff were a husband and wife team that were very nice. The place was up to date, modern and cute. They also had these mango jellies filled with mango juice that burst in your mouth, They were Amazing! never had those before and only a 50cent add on.I got mango and peach green tea with the mango jellies, and my fiance got strawberry lychee black tea with coconut jellies. They were very generous with the jelly portion too.They also have an assortment of candy, kinda like 7/11 where you can buy it per piece ranging from 5cents to 25cents. I was super picky and asked for only the yellow dino's from the sour dinos and they lady didn't protest, she was so nice, spent the time shuffling through the container for just the yellow ones. Super sweet lady. They also have a loyalty stamp card, so I will definitely be back for more bubble tea on a hot day.Great selection of flavors that you can mix and match, and regular bubble tea prices! No West Vancouver mark-up. Love this place."
