"An old school beef meat place. If you 're old enough to remember when steak houses were a thing you 'll feel right at home. If you 're not, this place will make you wish you were sixty so you could have the memory of simple, generously proportioned food served by smiling staff.We had the ribs bravely advertised as the best ribs in town and were not disappointed. Our small sample size precludes confirming they 're the best ribs in Winnipeg, but brothers and sisters, they were EXCELLENT ribs tangy, fall off the bone masterpiece work. Lots of flavour, lots of volume. Ribs are very rich. Lots of tasty fat. A few ribs are a LOT of ribs. Show up hungry, don 't fill up on the buns, and when the ribs show up tuck in like Fred Flintstone and go HARD. Well worth the money.Vegetarian options are, ha ha, ha HA HA HA HA limited . If you came to a rib place for the salads, you done messed up. :"

"This restaurant used to be good, not any more. We went to Rae Jerry's for a family reunion dinner. The front desk staff was more interested in themselves than the customers. They barely acknowledged our reservation, then stuck us in the back of the...restaurant. The waiter was awful, rude and talked over us. The meal is a preset dinner where you pick your main dish (meat or fish) and cannot substitute anything. The waiter said he could not make any changes because he does not know how to make the change at the register. you cannot order a different side dish. The service was slow. The food was not worth the price. The sides were in small dishes, what you would expect from a fast food restaurant. Some of our party did not want to order a drink, which got the strangest look from the waiter, like he was mad the final bill would be less so he would get a smaller tip. I'll give them a tip, do not eat here!! Over-rated restaurant stuck in the 1970's with very high prices, poor quality and poor service. They just do not care about the customer."

"I am in Honba sushi heaven. I don't know how you guys do it time and time again? The rainbow roll is the most amazing thing on the planet! The salmon and tuna draped over the top are so fresh and soft and buttery it melts in your mouth!! The avocado is always the perfect texture. The rolls are exquisitely made. Nothing ever falls apart. I also order the dragon roll which is delicious and perfectly made each time. The miso soup was hot on delivery and it is delicious. Let me also say that the ginger is always SO fresh!! Fresher than anywhere I have ever ordered sushi. I have probably ordered a year now and this is the most consistent sushi restaurant for highest quality super rolls. But they are pricey, so I can only occasionally splurge on it. If I could eat here everyday I would!But what are those little candies in the delivery? I can't understand the language but they taste like coffee and something sweet at the same time.Anyways thank you guys, keep up the great work!!"

"My fiancée and I (together with about 120 others) were arrested after the abort of our curse in winnipeg. we were placed in the sandman next door for the night, and most of us came to Denny's dinner. I can't talk a lot about personal. a manager, a server and a cook made everything. skip user information thedishes, Door-Schot, takeout, dune in, all of it! I don't think this was a typical Monday evening for them at all, but they treated it so well. you have made an unpleasant night just a bit better and we still managed to get our food in a reasonable time and still get it!"
