"We decided to try this restaurant for date night and truly enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. Portions were really good, the food came out hot and flavorful, and we did the deal and had to take food home. Really look forward to coming back. I really loved the live music too in the patio area, after we ate we say outside for a brief moment."

"I don 't know what has happened to the Lake Nona location but the brisket is basically inedible. This is 3rd time I 've gotten chopped brisket so dry it is like trying to swallow a lump of sawdust. Years ago it was very very good. Fresh and moist and seasoned nicely. I keep trying to convince myself the last purchase was just a fluke, it was just an off day. Sadly it isn 't that. It really is just bad now. Dry. Hard. No seasoning. No moisture or tender but crunchy edges. It is no longer just the appearances that have gone down hill...inoperable, unlit menu board with water damaged paper signs curled up inside, a drive thru that leaves you sitting outside window unnoticed until you knock on glass to order, stickers all over covering the plexiglass. All these I have overlooked out of loyalty and understanding about the high rent and loss of business due to covid. Unfortunately, after receiving yet another 50 dollar dinner that we mostly can 't eat, I give up. I can 't afford to support the business any more : Side note Was told employees don 't get any of the tips unless given cash because owner keeps it. I wasn 't sure how to process that information. Upset? Sympathetic? Disbelief? I hope that 's not true."

"A nice place. that was my first time with Cuban food, so I got the rock steak, Cuban rice and roast yuca, and my friend got laughs, rice and borons and cooked yuca with mojo sauce. it was so delicious and tasteful, and the portions were really big, so we had to get at the end of the boxing. our server gabriela was so sweet and let us know all our options before they order exactly what we wanted! we ordered naturally coffee and it was very strong without being too mad. I wish I had got a big one"
