"Service was prompt and we received our meals quickly as restaurant wasn't too busy for our reservation. Cozy atmosphere. Portions are very generous so we were happy we skipped the appetizers. The meat in the goulash was very tender as was the lamb my partner ordered. Good homestyle cooking and definitely worth a visit if you want to try something different."

"A small simple eatery where individualized hot pots are served on your own burner. Seating is at a counter or a table for four. Waitresses are friendly and explained the set up. Different kinds of broth than the standard is $2 more. Average cost of entree is $18. Wide selection of meats, seafood or vegetarian. Also have sukiyaki if not interested in soup broth. An enjoyable dinner, good simple food on a cold wet day!"

"October 22, 2916, we had a party of 5 people. We even had RESERVATIONS at 630pm! Our evening started with some comp. bread.....BUT we would not be served our main dinners until more than 1 hr. later after we had complained about the lengthy wait. Granted the restaurant was very busy and the experienced waitress told us that we SHOULD expect at "least" 1/2 hrs for our food to arrive at our table. REALLY? We told her that you could have least told us at the beginning. No additional bread or even a comp. dessert or small certificate for MAYBE our next visit! ARE YOU KIDDING US?The food was good BUT not that great and l can get this same quality of food for the price we paided elsewhere. My suggestion is that you order enough to drink and more bread if this is the kind of WAIT we have to go through!"

"Wonderful experience. Great food and friendly service. Shown is the daily special of chicken and prawns with a lemon wine butter sauce.Also ordered fettuccine alfredo. It’s not on the menu but they can make it. The sauce was amazing!"

"We dined at Baci last night, after a very small family wedding. I had the Halibut with risotto and vegetables, and it was fabulous. What made the whole experience great was a combo of the amazing food, the very attentive and fun waiter, and the atmosphere. I loved that it was not an overly loud restaurant, so we could all carry on in conversation.Will absolutely be back!Parking: A small free lot in the back of the restarting, and limited street parking spots.Dietary restrictions: One of our party has a garlic intolerance, and not only was his meal accommodated for this, but alternatives were brought out for dipping bread. To ask for no garlic at an Italian restaurant and actually be able to have it happen, is amazing."

"I have a business diner with people from around the world , it is so hard to find a elegant Chinese restaurant in Vancouver ,with great service ,and authentic food ,I read so much about this place , so ,great opportunity to check it out , ,it is very upscale Chinese authentic restaurant ,very elegant and NOT CHEAP ! ,very clean ,the best of the best ,I order the set dinner menu (around 600 $ ) ,it is excellent ,the presentation and the service is A1 , the lobster is so fresh with the noodle , perfectly cooked , a lot of street and casino parking ,very safe and easy to find ,it is excellent place for meeting or wedding , not a place for young kids or babies ! my bill comes to over $900 .00 and 25% tips ! not Cheap ! for ten people ,but it worth every penny ! Lunch is lot cheaper , so ,try it out ,for real elegant Chinese food !"

"They have good selections of dim sum dishes. However, congee and noodle from dim sum menu isn't good, taste is bland. For traditional dim sum dishes such as shumai, sticky rice, cheong fun, chicken feet, shrimp shumai are delicious. The place is crowded when we...had lunch there due to boxing day. Price is more expensive than the one we had in Richmond."
