"Situated alongside the newly refurbished rail station, which now serves Nantes as well as Rennes, this restaurant is also just across the road from the castle. Stopped here with my wife for lunch on a Friday in late November and upon receiving a warm welcome shown to a table of our choice. The menu was somewhat limited but eventually we settled for the `menu du jour' at 11.90 euros each for 3 courses including a small carafe of rose wine - a price that appeared to be competitive in that part of townThe service throughout was good - the actual dishes selected consisted of a starter of egg mayonnaise salad, a main of cabillaud (cod) accompanied by potatoes and other vegetables, finishing with a dessert of creme brulee. The food was quite acceptable, although in our opinion not in any way above the norm.The location is ideal, especially with accommodation for an overnight stay and with its proximity to trains, the coach service to Angers and the old town; in addition to their own spaces for guests there is also ample free car parking in the immediate vicinity. On the minus side the bar/restaurant is somewhat utilitarian in appearance and the facilitiues could do with a little updating."

"Un tartare pour moi et un onglet pour mon frère très bon bien cuisinés. Dessert correct sans extravagances. Par contre à part la serveuse, le mec au bar au téléphone qui dit pas bonjour et le cuistot sur la terrasse en train de fumer c'est pas top prestance"

"Petit restaurant simple et rapide (midi). La patronne et une serveuse rousse super sympa (souriante, rapide, efficace). Le patron (baraque rugby) est sur la réserve, mais on ne cherche pas à l'énerver. les formules sont bien adaptées (EP ou PD ou EPD). Le buffet d'entrées est sobre et frais. Beaucoup de desserts maison. Un peu bruyant quand il y a des groupes. J'y reviens avec plaisir."

"I read the reviews her at Tripadvisor and went to Le Bilig. Fantastic place, cosy, friendly staff and a menu full of creative gallettes and crepes and some ciders on top. Well worth a visit."

"Nous avons été manger cette semaine à ce restaurant, nous ne le connaissions pas, mais des amis me l'avaient conseillé. Je pensais que c'était réservé aux clients de l’hôtel mais pas du tout. Nous avons été fêter un anniversaire, groupe de 15, et ça s'est très bien passé. Nous avons mangé des crevettes au Tandori, une belle pièce de viande et dessert, c'était très bon. Je recommande !"
