"It has been a long time since I visited Pho Viet Restaurant. I used to visit their previous location so somehow, got really disappointed with their #1 Pho soup. It no longer taste the same nor does it smell the same. Also, the meat given were lesser than before. I raved about this restaurant when I was in Vietnam last year, still thinking that they had the best Pho soup I've tasted. However, it is not anymore and I am quite disappointed. It used to be when you enter their restaurant, you can smell the Pho Soup and once the bowl was served to you, you could inhale the aromatic fragrance of it and start slurping the broth while it was still piping hot.I went there twice this year and the second time, I didn't order the soup anymore, just the fresh salad roll combo with the grilled pork and fried spring roll. The grilled pork had the taste of chicken which I didn't like. I think they used the same baster brush for the chicken. The peanut sauce tasted good and the fried spring roll was ok."

"Went there for lunch. Ordered a noodle dish and 2 other items. Midway through, my friend was getting more noodles from the plate. There was a big black fly in it. Called the server, pointed at the fly. Server asked if we were still eating it. We said no. He took it away. Did not give us a new dish. Ended up charging us 50% for that dish and full price on the others. Stay away. Much better places around there."

"Whenever we are in Richmond, we make sure to visit Green Lemongrass. And so we did this time around. It is a mom& pa restaurant that really warms our hearts and stomachs. Their menu include Vietnamese starters, main dishes and soups. All made from fresh ingredients and lots of love. I just adore and admire their pho. They offer a few kinds and I have tasted almost all of them by now. The one we had yesterday was superb!! Deep layers of taste, tender rare meat, fresh herbs!!!! It is only getting better with every visit. The service was friendly snd pleasant. The cooking: superb. Waiting impatiently for our next visit there!!"

"I came here on my birthday, such a wonderful restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. The location is PRIME by the waterfront overlooking the marsh and marina in a quiet area, I ordered mee Goreng and Kari Massaman curry dish both with beef and I am so pleased with the flavor! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everybody I know."

"Paid $22 for groupon. Yesterday walked in and was asked for groupon before ordering. I pulled up from my mobile app and presented to the owner for redemption. She took a picture and handed back to me my phone and said i need groupon number. I said i just handed the number to you. Of course she hit the redeemed button so I can't pull it up anymore as it's been redeemed by her. Groupon office is not open til dec 26. I was ripped off right in front of my family. It felt like my purse was snatched face to face and i was so powerless and harassed. It was such a terrible feeling!!. I have used groupon so many times and had good experiences with other honest vendors. This one totally threw me off guard. Long story short.. My groupon i paid $22 for was redeemed even though I did not get my food.. I can't believe one can trade their integrity for $22 .. Bad karma is on it's way. I totally believe the person who commented back in sep though the modus operandi used was slightly different.. Still the intention was to rip off groupon customers.. So please Beware."

"“Hakkasan” is a little bistro offering authentic Hakka-inspired soul food and Cantonese dishes prepared the “Wok Hay” style. They are a family-run establishment: a mother and her two daughters. They are best known from their multi-course tasting menus. Having family ties to the Hakka people and growing up hearing my relatives speak the dialect, I was highly curious to try the cuisine for myself. I am sure I have had some Hakka dishes growing up, but I wouldn’t be able to tell you this from that. I wanted to learn more and I wanted to start with food from “Hakkasan”."
