"The restaurant sits close to the Gairloch Museum which we had just visited. Family have been to the restaurant before and it came highly recommended, I can see why.It sits on the main road with great views across the water. There's a spacious car park and seating outside. Inside there's plenty of tables in a traditional setting. I imagine post-pandemic it's been difficult to get back into the swing of things, if that was the case it didn't show.The service was perfect. You're not going to get fast food turnaround on orders, but then you aren't going to get fast food quality food. The fact that things are cooked to order is explained and I can't say I felt we had to wait long at all.The menu offered a good selection and catered well for vegetarians. We were all very happy with our choices. I had the falafel burger, one of the best I have tried.So, location, service and food perfect!"

"Had a brilliant double room in the room with a practically separate lounge area (l shaped). very clean, warm, full on camp large bathroom etc. free and very reliable wlan. restaurant excellent and the staff was very excellent mentioning the beautiful and very helpful beata. it is a perfect location for a first night in skye and excellent worth. I was impressed."

"There is no atmosphere, not like in so many other pubs/restaurants etc. Very cold and uncomfortable. The food was also prepared with little love. Vegan Options: Soup of the day, a main, a dessert After the head, we didn't want to try the dessert. We didn't want to stay any longer. Staff was friendly"

"Hot food always served. That's what the sign says? There was no food left. Scraped some old soup from the bottom, enough for one of us. Pricey, place and bad service. I would not go here again, nor would I recommend it. Coffee tasted bad as well. Toilet dirty. No thank you."

"We stayed in the hotel and enjoyed dinner during our stay. friendly and professional staff served us and delivered excellent drinks recommendations. they were also incredibly helpful to prepare a vegetarian meal that was not on the menu for my wife (which does not like mushrooms) they and my dishes were fantastic! we enjoyed our meal intensively before we get into the rest next to the log fire for our night capsule. many thanks to the chef and the staff that they are so courteous and talented! bravo!"

"Located directly opposite Uig Tower, this restaurant had a good lunch. The service was a little slow, but it was worth waiting. The fish and chips were fresh and delicious, and we enjoyed the sticky toffe pudding. You have a good bar and a good selection of beers. Great lunch spot when exploring the island of Skye."
