"Eating was okay, but rather overpriced for what it was and there was a strange waiting coming out between the meals; they didn't all come together. service was friendly, but then order them and pay all of themselves via qr code, so personal contact. was somehow limited. Maybe it's only Daylesford prizes, but I couldn't recommend this experience to these trips."

"This is a surprise find in Daylesford. Friends and I went to the Bowling Club for drinks and dinner on a Thursday evening. The atmosphere is great. Nice decor; staff are really friendly; there's plenty of room, and the regular and special menu was great! The drinks were great value too (you can't say that anywhere else in Daylesford! The fish and chips was very generous. It was great to see staff selling raffle tickets to support a local charity too! We'll be back!"

"We probably made a mistake in turning up at around 7pm on a Saturday night without calling ahead to order takeaway. The nice chap taking the order was slow and we were then told we had 45 minutes to wait before it would be ready. The restaurant, whilst populated, didn't seem overly busy so this was a little disappointing. We ordered fish and chips and a burger with some loaded fries. The food was good except when we got back to our hotel they had not included the sauce that came with the fish and chips, the salad was also just chucked in the box under the hot fish without being mixed. We would eat from there again though, and would probably eat in the restaurant next time as the fit out was cool and it seemed like it had a great atmosphere."

"I had lovely bangers and mash like to just like a home cooked meal very reasonable for 16 bucks my mum had fish and chips it was so big she couldn't eat it all lovely glass of wine warm fire great pub meal all freshly cooked and home-made not out of a packet"
