"We’ve been to this place a couple times now, and I’ve now decided it’s my favorite restaurant. Every time we go it is phenomenal food and service. Girls night, date night, or special occasions, this is the perfect place. While a little pricey, the quality is 100% worth every penny. Staff is knowledgeable and kind, and everything I’ve tried has blown me away. Bacon wrapped dates and the wedge salad are to die for. Will be returning soon. "They must have had an off day after reading other reviews. Mid afternoon nibbles and the wife orders a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Except for a few people at the bar the place was empty. Took 40 minutes to get food. Wife about to take a big bite and noticed a long hair hanging out of the cheese. The offer to remake the sandwich and she asks for no pepper as the hairy chicken was heavily peppered. After a good while they redeliver the chicken (by now I am done eating) and this one has more pepper. I hope this was just a bad day for them. We will not return again."

"This was our first visit to Chessie's. Reading reviews ahead of time, I reserved a small table for 2 in the train car. Luckily all the Christmas decorations were still up so it was still very festive. This was a busy Friday night so service was slow but our waitress was great at stopping by. We ordered Herbed chicken and Plank Salmon. I had an incredibly good Lemoncello Rasberrytini. We stopped into the bar on our way out to see the decorations- pretty awesome. We look forward to going back to try some other menu items."

"The blue fish escape. great except center was not cost. asked for rolls or brot, but was directed to order the special $8 brot that was good. there is also a $2 kitchen service fees unannounced on bill. really the kitchen is obviously not paid to make a $45 ribeye. of 15 restaurants where I worked, and hundreds where I had eaten. a rude first"

"The only reason I didn't write this review sooner is because I wanted to keep this local gem somewhat of a secret. You can find me at Rio at least once a week. The menu is packed with amazing Latin dishes, American classics, and my favorite, a bunch of incredible breakfast items. Great for a big group who want a varied menu, they often also have an expansive list of creative and fun specials. The house made hot sauce is so good you'll be tempted to slip it into your pocket. Legit if you are an eggs Benedict fan, the scratch hollandaise will make you weep. Beautiful outdoor seating, family and dog friendly. The service is excellent and the staff are sweethearts. Ticket times can be a bit of a wait on busier days, but chat with the people you're with, the wait will be worth it. Kid friendliness: Lots of menu options and a big back yard for running around. "The food here is surprisingly good. Went in with low expectations and had a good burger for lunch on the first day. Two days later went back for dinner and I had the soup of the day (pumpkin), actually delicious. Presently surprised. The other people I was with had pasta and also the chicken snitizel. All of which were made with quality ingredients. Food came quickly despite a packed restaurant."
