"Very good Merlo coffee, quiet large area, comfortable seating, tired from wandering around during the Carnival of Flowers so a respite for my aching feet.I saw the Merlo sign and headed straight inside. Being an out of towner I vaguely remembered the Merlo name search on the internet but found quite accidently. Really pretty displays of high end gifts; loved the bright read exotic tea set, jewellery and scarfs for sale. Wish I had not eaten before as the sweets and croissants baked on the premises looked enticing. Lots of magazines to browse through, and it would be a very cool breezy place to drink coffee during the hot summer days."

"They would not let me order take away coffee because I didn't show them my vaccine certificate. They are not required to do this for take away, they obviously just like discriminating against people because they can. This is unlawful and disgusting behaviour. I went...next door to Park House Cafe who did not discriminate and who made top quality coffee."

"Well this review is a little different as we tried to visit. Sign says that this restaurant is Toowoomba's secret so Saturday night (normally one of the biggest social nights of the week) we attempted to unlock the secret. Two signs on the outside of the building in public view to draw people in presumably, say open Mon-Sat to the Public (it's located within the grounds of a motel). These signs are on the main road. It's called the Intersection Restaurant for good reason as it took us 3 passes to access the entrance due to it's location on a busy crossroads, but once we managed to get parked we walked to the restaurant to find it closed with the opening hours on the door saying Mon-Fri!!! Aaargh. Looks like it will have to remain a secret."

"The Vintage Cafe has transformed the Toowoomba food scene! Their menu is based around fabulous gluten free and/or dairy free options that would please even the greatest gluten food lover. And better still they offer delivery! This is a HUGE gap in the market in Toowoomba and speaking as someone with a chronic Illness who can’t drive this is a God send! They have steered away from the found everywhere cafe meals, and instead offer a mouthwatering array of unique meals that can be tweaked to each customers dietary needs and personal palate. Their meals are divine, reasonably priced and service is friendly and efficient. They offer most milk alternatives with the exception of coconut milk (however hopefully when they read this they might add this as well!"
