"Tout simplement parfait. En vacances dans la région, nous avons connu ce restaurant via un ami. Vous devez avoir un gros appétit si vous voulez manger une entrée et vous délecter d'une entrecôte ( cuisson parfaite) cuite au feu de bois. Nous reviendrons sûrement avant la fin de notre séjour. Service impeccable et accueil parfait"

"Really nice local place. Service is attentive, friendly and warm. Food is overall great, the fish dish was exquisite. The lamb was a tad to greasy for us. Would recommend to people looking to experience the french gastronomy in a relaxed setting. Small menu but feels thought out. Nice selection of local wine. Prices are reasonable. "During the peak season in the Provence we booked table for 5 at La Bastide de Tourtour to celebrate a birthday. We had 2 kids below 3 with us, so a table on the terrasse was best suited. The location is superb with view on the Var hills as far as you can see, with the old Bastide behind us. Tourtour lives up to its image as 'Village dans le ciel'. Reception was nice and as aperitif we had a very good Champagne. The amuses bouche were ok, but not special. Our dinner was the Menu Découverte which is basically a la carte as you could choose from many starters and main courses. The foie gras with magret de canard was excellent, while the salmon and truite were of very good quality, but simple in presentation. Filet and cod as main courses were all good, but again not spectacular. Same for the desserts. Prices are very reasonable though, as the 3 course menu was at 35 euro. Some small things with service could be better, as serving the wine at the exact timing with the food. This restaurant deserves an excellent rating if it gets a bit more adventurous in its cooking, but it would increase prices logically."

"An all-around great experience. We arrived at 7 pm, the restaurant opens at 7:30, but they promised to save us a table and they did. The wait staff was very friendly, and forgiving of our awful French. For my main course, I ordered the "Couscous Imperial" which I would recommend for our first time, since it gives you a taste ff all their different meat oppositions. For my sister, a vegetarian, she could get a good meal, which is hard to do in France. I would definitely go back if I am ever in TourTour again."
