"Ordered breakfast for me and my partner from here via Skip. The food came delicious and hot and was beautifully presented. Great value for your dollar and would be nice to see this small corner restaurant stick around post pandemic. Great value for a meal...for two for $20!"

"In this restaurant for a friend 'a birthday. immediately noticed how disturbed it was, what some people might find charming. it was dark with only candles that illuminate the place. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu. I ordered a dozen oysters, because the oysters were small and barely registered at the gaumen. the beef-tenderoin was nothing special, just a hunk of meat on a teller. everything was ala carte so ordered the dauphinois carrots that were dry. the zucchini court had a honey glaze with nuts, which were in order, but could be made easy to house. the dessert menu was tender with only two, a pumpkin cake and the worst creampe brûlée I've ever had. it contained a kind of obst not sure what and nuts. my friend had the foie grass that was good. overall not impressed and will not be back. they save their money people there are better and more reasonable than this place of the pretenz"

"Okay so I decided that I would give this place another chance as my last visit may have been a one off.So I attended Noodle Express today for lunch with my better half. We ordered the butterfly shrimp (E15), shrimp soup with noodles (A5) and shrimp dim sum. This time the service was quick and the food was delicious. So I must say that after today's visit, I will be returning. Good Job."

"My wife and I were here for a late lunch on Sunday. We had never been to his restaurant before but had driven by it many times. It's part of the Charleswood Village area.We're seniors in our 60's and appreciate peaceful surroundings. We were quite pleased with the ambience. The place was tastefully decorated, the chairs and booths were comfortable, the lighting was not obtrusive and the music was pleasant.Our server was very professional and not at all in your face. The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time.The food tasted delicious. My wife had the short rib and cheese sandwich with caesar salad. She loved the sandwich; the caesar was pretty bland but OK. I had the Angus burger and was surprised by the delicate flavours and taste. The fries were fine but were coated in a spice blend that must have had MSG in it. I bloated up about 30 mins after eating. I enjoyed the local beer on tap. My wife thought the coffee was very smooth. We both enjoyed the lemon tart for dessert.Be warned that the lunch cost us $53 plus tip."

"The food was delicious. Incredibly flavourful and presented well. Every dish was so tasty but the pork belly steamed buns and the wild mushroom pasta stood out, for us. Service was friendly and helpful. It was our first time and our server was helpful with describing each dish and pointing out some of the local favourites. The portion sizes are not overly large, but with a combination of small plates (one of each menu 'section ' for 2 people), we were more than satisfied. We will spread the word and will be back. Perfect for a date night or smaller groups (2-6)."
