"I was treated to Detroit Seafood Market 2 years ago and was blown away! This was my first visit, the snow crabs were the biggest and most freshest I'd ever tasted! I'd been trying my best to return but time just hasn't allowed, until Saturday. My husband (it was his first time) and I decided to go. I was very impressed that we could reserve online. When we arrived we were seated right away. I was a little disappointed that we weren't able to get a booth--which is the perfect setting for an intimate dinner. The host explained to us, in the future, I should specify when I call or reserve online and they will make sure a booth would be ready for me. I ordered the King Crab, and was extremely disappointed. The portion size was great but it had no flavor--tasted as if it had been over-steamed/boiled. I had it returned and replaced with the snow crabs, and requested that I have the honors of cracking them myself (I think this is why the King Crab lost flavor). The replacement was great, however, they weren't as large as my first experience. Our reservation was at 8:45pm, bad idea, because they begin turning the restaurant into a night club around 9:15 or so, which disturbed our nice quiet intimate meal. The moving of the chairs and tables made us feel rushed and in the way, although the friendly and accommodating staff kept assuring us that we were fine (Actions speak louder than words though). My last experience was the total opposite of my first experience. Overall, I would still recommend the restaurant, if you take heed to all of the prerequisites. I would return and give it one more try."

"Atmosphere was good, staff friendly. Pub food was ok during happy hour. At dinner... Seafood dishes was terrible! We ordered Pan seared scallops, shrimp & grits I've had much better, seafood pasta dish awful. I just think the entrees need work. But the DJ was good for late night entertainment!"

"Just attended a concert here and it was the worst venue I have ever been to. The bands were incredible but with no AC and fitting more than 150 people in the venue (way over max capacity) it was so hot people could barely breathe and as someone with health conditions it was completely unsafe. Would never come back. Wasn’t even allowed to open the door without the manager shutting it on us. Someone left the venue throwing up because they couldn’t breathe and it was so hot."
