"Stumbled across this delightful vegan cafe/restaurant in the heart of the Carcassonne bastide. It has only been open for a couple of months after a move of location to Rue de Verdun, and has an extensive drinks menu including coffes, teas, smoothies and fruit juices. The food is freshly prepared using seasonal fruit and vegetables and is very tasty with soups and bagels and deserts. Attentive and helpful staff make for a great experience."

"This apartment over looks the square on top of the le carnot cafe .Max the owner was a wonderful host and very informative. The apartment is very stylish and very clean. It was lovely to watch the hussle and bussle over looking the square. It's in the perfect location to walk to the medieval castle which is well worth a visit and lovely restaurants and shops in the town.We are planning on returning for a Christmas weekend. I felt I needed another day as there is so much to see.We Highly Recommend this apartment.Thank you Max"

"Personnel un peu à côté de la plaque: oublie la moitié de la commande, chantilly sortie d'une pâtisserie pour mettre sur le chocolat chaud...car "je ne trouve pas le siphon".Nous étions 4 : 1 thé, 3 chocolats chauds "chantilly" et deux crêpes au sucre....crêpe à moitié rance, soit disant "du matin" sucre fondu en liquide dessus; nous décidons de manger quand même par politesse....1h du matin le même jour, les deux personnes ayant pris les crêpes on eu des vomissements, et diarrhée, sur toute la nuit, inacceptable !!! Éviter d'aller vous faire empoissonner ! Apparement la remplaçante des propriétaires, une dame d'un âge avancé, ne doit pas se rendre compte de ce qu'elle vend !"

"As I walked from the station through the Bastide of Carcassonne I saw a sandwich board pointing to an artisan patisserie in a quiet side street. What a find that was!
