"We were tempted in by the lovely table and chairs out in the sunshine by the church. Really friendly staff. We had a sandwich and a bagel and they were both very tasty. We shared a cake , coffee and walnut, which we recommend....My earl grey was served in a beautiful china cup and saucer. We both loved sitting in the sunshine watching the world go by."

"Great service intially, our drinks and meal orders were taken very quickly. It took a while until our main plates were cleared, but it was a very busy Sunday in the late afternoon/early evening and I think our first waiter had finished his shift before we had finished our meal. Food was very good, Steak was cooked for perfection and everything was hot and well presented. It is not Cordon Bleu but it is good pub grub and good value for money."
