"We ordered the queso w/firestarter chili and chips appetizer. Very delicious! My wife got the shrimp w/rice appetizer for her meal and lived it. I got the country fried steak and was very happy with it as well. Our server was fantastic. She's was very friendly and gave us outstanding service."

"Heitzman has our high-time reception of 200 on the 9th april. we fell in love with new orleans and decided to bring nola for our themed event to louisville. that was a first Cajun theme wedding that heitzman had done and after a taste test at the location shelbyville road we knew that they were perfect for the job. they did it. her advice was more than reasonable and that was incredible. we have heard from almost everyone hosing how amazing the food was and how well prepared our cater was. they have scored each i and crossed every t. we had a large selection of feeds with 5 stations consisting of gumbo, jambalaya, red beans rice, chicken etoufee, a low-country broil, a vegetarian/gluten free railway station, and an action station of banana foster, brot pudding and king cake. our high time cake was a 3 animal carrot, lemon and strawberry that would fill up any card. we both recommend to offer hietzman traditional bakery deli any event, basic or customized. we're coming back!"
