"One of Auckland's hidden gems. The level of service and quality of food is fine-dining level. In fact it surpasses some of Auckland's most acclaimed establishments. Something about this place does not make sense. The service, the food, the plating and presentation, the desserts. Very underpriced for the quantity quality, without any pretentiousness. It doesn't feel real. After dinner, we looked back at the unassuming exterior design and felt like we had been in a speakeasy. A 5-star experience hidden inside a random local restaurant on the side of the road."

"We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. Staff were pleasant, attentive and friendly. We chose the 7 course tasting menu. All dishes were a work of art. Delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. Each course complemented the next. Textures, colors and aromas were in perfect harmony. Service was excellent.
