"A lovely authentic experience at Ras Dashen with Wondi (owner and waiter). We took the advice of a previous Zomato review and just asked Wondi to bring us a mixture of food for two hungry diners.<br/ <br/ We got a mixture of meat and vegetarian dishes, alongside a variety of breads and everything was amazing. Finished off with a traditional coffee which not only tasted great, but was a nice little experience.<br/ <br/ All of this with two alcoholic drinks for just $30 a head!<br/ <br/ Looking forward to heading back already"

"A friend and I wandered here last night to look for our first taste of African food. this restaurant is family-run and aims to get fed the local African community. there are no menus. only one choice of lamb or bark at $14 per person. the meal was good, but a part of the meat was really hard. the bark mint and homemade cheese was delicious. the Roti type of brotes was also beautiful. for the price it was very full, as we received a massive part of the meat. an open mind would be happy here."

"Lunch on a Monday so it was quiet.,mainly seniors like us. The waitress struggled to explain the few questions we had about the menu. The food was good, but the entree's were very small and overpriced for the size. A lady at another table commented...on the size and how it seemed to have shrunk from a month ago. Then the mains were very large."

"I love love love the HSP they have here! The portion size is extremely filling, craving it right now. <br/ <br/ Haven't tried the kababs yet but the reviews from others seem like they're really good so I will definitely go back and try soon."

"My daugther found this place. Hopkins St is very busy all the time, so parking can be an issue. We got ours takeaway. Dumplings, spring onion pancake, all picked up hot and steaming. Tastes fantastic, sauce was provided as well. Only downfall is they don't speak very good english, so understanding"
