"Merriman's is known for its ambiance open to gorgeous sunset views, delicious cocktails, and a master chef three course dining experience. Pick your appetizer, entre, and dessert. Everyone will find something they love. They offer free valet parking. Plan to arrive before sunset to take photos. There is a gorgeous bar indoors, but you must have a seat to order a drink. Similarly, you must be seated outside to enjoy a drink outdoors. So, don't plan to have a drink while you wait for your table."

"Hands down the most beautiful restaurant on Maui. While the Ritz beautiful it is smaller cousin of assembly is even more beautiful. The Cane and Canoe are located in the middle of the hotel. It's pricy, but it's worth it. Very good in a spectacular environment."

"In my reservations I noted it was my birthday dinner (and it was Christmas Day) and requested a table with a view. None of the notations mattered. Not only were we seated in an overfill area (an area normally designed for their sales area) but we were stuck in the back. There was no mention whatsoever it was buffet style dinner as opposed to a buffet. Nothing about the dinner or atmosphere was special. I would not recommend this “restaurant” lest one is completely out of options"

"Full disclosure, if you are from the Mainland, the prices will be a little shocking at first (I paid over $60 for 2 pizzas). Let 's just say that at home, I buy 28 inch giant pizzas that feed about 10-20 people depending on the number of adults vs children. I was visiting Maui with my 4 kids and so I called ahead of time to ask how many people the 16 inch pizza feeds and explained that it was for my 4 children and I. I was told that it feeds 3-4 people. So, I ended up ordering 2 pizzas. I will say that the pizza sizes were a generous 16 inches and they were delicious!!! I have never had pizza like that and will say that it was well worth the price. We ordered a Windmills and a Veggie Special. I will say that the Veggie Special was everyone 's favorite (including my 2 children who had asked for the Windmills). The general concensus was that the Windmills was a little on the dry side, which just kind of comes with the territory of the toppings it has. The Veggie Special, on the other hand... WOW!!! I have never had a veggie pizza that tasted quite like that. It was bursting with flavor. The crusts on both of them were fantastic. They were the perfect combination of moist and soft encased in a lightly crunchy exterior. We had just started serving up the pizza when I thought to take photos. The 1/2 pizza is the Windmills pizza. My slogan for them is: Prison food never tasted so good! ?? We will definitely be making this one of our regular stops during our trips to Maui."

"This is worth the hype 100% soooo good!! We found this place on front street and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s life changing! It’ll ruin you for all other shave ice for the rest of your life the owner, David was there the second time we came, we told him how amazing it was and he was so kind and gracious! We’ll be coming back at least twice before we leave back to go home to Utah."
