"DELICIOUS food and a cozy atmosphere.... with reasonable prices too! This was my first time to Providence and just googled this place. Worth every star! I had the Squid Ink Pasta and my co-worker the Ravioli Meatballs. We both loved our food... down to every last bite. I'd highly recommend."

"Food was really good! It was Valentineâs Day, so things were a little crazy, and part of our order showed up during dessert. I expect a few glitches on a night that busy, that didnât bother me as long as everything tasted good. Our waiter was really nice and quite calm considering how busy it was. The only thing that irritated me was that they had likely jammed in extra tables, so we were practically seated in the kitchen. Having a first row seat to the drama of a busy night while the bright kitchen lights shone in my face wasnât exactly the romantic ambiance I was looking for. Maybe just accept the number of reservations your space can handle and your kitchen and wait staff will be less overwhelmed?"

"The Best!!. I experience good and bad days with all restaurants but I have never had a bad day at Shanghai on Thayer Street. The atmospher, view, staff and food have always been great. My favorite is the Beef Teriyaki with an order of Chicken Shrimp Pad Thai. They have even recently added a full sushi bar with some of the best prices and delicious sushi in RI. Don't just take my word for it, go try it for yourself and if for some reason you do have an issue with something you order just ask to see the owner, he is always overseeing and ready to please you to insure you have a great dinning experience."

"Awesome Thai food! This restaurant has the best Thai cuisine cooked in the traditional way. Nice atmosphere and service is always super friendly. I highly recommend the Tom Yum soup and green curry...both are delicious though I have never had a bad dish here. No other Thai restaurant in Providence can compete as far as I am concerned. My go-to spot for Thai!"

"Well we may have had our last meal here with the chef/owner announcing closing North and Big King this summer (we tried to reserve at Big King immediately after seeing the announcement but they are booked until they close). We have had many pleasant and memorable meals starting with our daughter 's undergrad days at Brown. We arrived on a weeknight when they opened 5:30 PM and they were soon full, a number of people were turned a way as no COVID vaccine card. The place is noisy and bustling. It is clear the staff was overwhelmed although someone was in training. Our drink was a bottle of Drunken Whale sake well priced at $54. Appetizers were a 1/2 dozen N Kingston (RI) oysters superb the 3 ham biscuits, and torched lamb. We split a a bowl of stuffed chicken ramen well flavored. I thought it could have had a bit more chicken but my dining companion said the quality overwhelmed my thought of more quantity. We finished with the miso tres leches cake. Overall, a great meal with damages with tip of $150. Go before it is gone! Food 5/5 Service 4/5 Value 4/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Noise 3/5 (average) Decor 4/5"

"Really enjoyed Noodles 102! Stopped in for a quiet birthday dinner and it exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and served promptly. The service was impeccable, just the right balance of attentive and conversational by the wonderful gentleman working the dining room. I noted on the reservation that it was a birthday for the occasion and without a word, a delicious chocolate lava cake with a candle was brought out at the end of our meal. I definitely appreciated the attention to small details and the generosity. It 's a small and cozy sort of place and just the sort of ambience we like. There was quiet conversation among the other diners, nothing too loud, and just perfect. My 11 year old absolutely adored his custom noodle bowl with chicken and ramen noodles and is begging me to learn how to make the broth because he says he needs a 55 gallon barrel filled with that broth! Haha. We 'll definitely be back to try more of the menu, everything looked so good it was hard to settle on just one dish! Pro tip: try the pan fried dumplings and the nime chow! Soooo good!"

"Food is basic here but way over-priced. If you look up their previous Board of Health inspection reviews for the past several years, like I did... You'll probably NEVER eat at Yoo Sushi again! In Canada, if a business falls below a certain grade, they are closed down, a fine must be paid and changes need to be documented in order for it to be reopened. In America, a fine is paid but no one cares that this business (and many others) has been cited for the same VIOLATIONS over& over again. Unwashed hands, unsafe food practices, food buckets left in the hot sun with once fresh ingredients inside them- the list goes on. Do your own research!"
