"The food at pankayam was absolutely exceptional. Every bite of seafood was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Not only was the food outstanding, but the ambience of the restaurant was also truly delightful. The interior had a sophisticated yet relaxed coastal vibe, with tasteful nautical decor and a soothing color palette that created a pleasant dining atmosphere. The seating arrangements were well-spaced, allowing for a comfortable and intimate dining experience."

"Just had cake, which was nice.Unfortunately i opted for ice cream on the top.This MAY have been the cause of my stomach trouble for the next 4 days which included 2 hospital visits. As i pointed out , it MAY HAVE BEEN the ice cream.Be aware."

"We were staying at the Uday hotel and found this restaurant on the beach front. It was a godsend! They bring you their catch of the day fish and you choose. They then cook it any way you want. We were there over Easter and difficult to get any alcohol. But they were happy to serve us. They also have rooms which would work out a lot cheaper than hotel"

"L'étal de poissons donne un large choix sur le poisson à faire griller.Une sauce au beurre et à l'ail est proposée. Demander à ce qu' elle soit servie séparément. En accompagnement une salade ou des chips ou encore un mix.Le service est très avenant et efficace. Les prix sont discutables."

"Great location overlooking the beach, restaurant has simple decoration but delicious food. We ate here on 3 occasions I would recommend the seafood platter , coconut fish curry and kerala fish curry. We also had vegetable pakoras all delicious."

"Room names here is confusing. Booked for an executive room and that had just a side view. Had a fight with the reception people . At last got a sea facing room (my good luck it was available). Man with red shirt (Azim .. I think) was really helpful. Well cleaned rooms and breakfast value of money. New Year Party was awesome. Tips: Do not go by room namesMention sea facing.Try thali meals for lunch ,tasty and elaborate"

"Helpful friendly waiters but food was lacking something. Not the best we have enjoyed whilst in Kovalam and a bit tasteless. Nice place to watch the world go round and the sunset. Toilets okay but no toilet roll or soap, doesn't take much to provide this. We will not visit again."
