"Definitely B team. I ate one egg, two bites of toast and hashbrowns. My eggs were not cooked my toast came burnt and the middle of my hashbrowns were raw. Went to pay, told waitress, her response well you ate it!! An apology would of been suffice, no tip for you."

"Cocoabeans is an amazing restaurant and one of my favourites in Winnipeg. The menu is entirely gluten-free and features many vegan and vegetarian options which is fantastic for those of us with dietary limits. The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely, with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The seating is limited, however, and the restaurant is often busy. I absolutely LOVE their menu. I have tried the Sweet Potato Burger, Taco Salad, Quinoa Salad, Chickpea Salad, Yam Fries and their Kombucha on-tap. Everything has tasted incredible, fresh and flavourful. They also serve cafe drinks and have a variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, and other meals. They sell some of their salad dressings, quinoa chili, homemade hummus, and other items in their refrigerated/frozen area. They also sell delicious baking and treats like homemade peanut butter cups, date bars, cupcakes, cookies, brownies and more. All of their baking that I have tried is so good! Many of their baking is vegan as well. The service has been hit and miss during my multiple visits. I have experienced staff who haven't had a very friendly or positive demeanour, while other times the staff have been polite, professional and positive. I hope this can improve for the future! I always love enjoying a meal at Cocoabeans and will continue to eat here often."

"Stopped in with my wife as we happened to be walking past. There is a massive selection of individual cakes, pastries, treats, and a big selection of full size cakes also. We tried four different individual cakes and loved them all!You can sit in, although tables are limited, or take out - which was the popular choice as we sat there with a steady flow of people collecting orders or choosing from the counters. Really enjoyed.Also worth noting, there is a good selection of GLUTEN FREE cakes and pastries also!! A few people came in for these, clearly repeat customers who the staff recognised - always a good sign."

"I've been there for two years. We ordered in the senior menu. melted in the mouth. Had a beer to celebrate our 2 years of Covid restrictions. Nice to see the restaurant full. The staff is excellent. And for a treat some of the wonderful donuts from Sal took home. Will give Sal a million rating. Bravo."

"One of Winnipeg's most recognizable icons has got to be the "Sals" as us locals tend to call it. Good food, reasonable service and their red velvet cake is to die for! This is the one restaurant that always seems to be opened. With new menu features and of course the traditional nips that us Peggers have come to love and expect."
