"Service was great, food was pretty decent. Personally I got the chicken burger and was happy with the taste. Although I felt it was slightly overpriced at $23 for the smallish size you get. But great place awesome atmosphere on weekend days/Thursday, considering orewa is pretty dead most nights."

There were a few dishes that we weren’t too familiar with but the staff are very knowledgeable and helped us out. <br/ <br/ Food is delicious; beautifully cooked and seasoned, but very rich and saucy so be sure to get a glass of ouzo with your meal, it will cut through beautifully."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our early dinner, reservation made for 5:30 PM. Service led the evening with every staff being attentive, informative, and friendly; this included the Chef! Our first dining experience in New Zealand, the waiter encouraged questions, which worked out as we were curious of New Zealand authentic foods and wine. Speaking of wine, I was unfamiliar with some of the white wine NZ wineries, a quick solution presented by our waiter, a tasting!! Fabulous. As for the star of the evening, the Wagyu Scotch fillet was perfectly seared and just the right size as we did not want to overeat. The gnocchi dish was insanely delicious, a smart combination of zucchini, snap peas and other accoutrements. The actual gnocchi were clouds with a light crispy outside omgoodness, a must try if you are gnocchi obsessed like me no dessert as we had other itinerary to get too. Of note, there were no screens on the open windows with some flies buzzing at our inside table next to the chef’s area, no one seemed to be concerned, though it was off putting to us Vegetarian options: Restaurant offers delicious vegetarian options Parking: Sundays and holidays free street parking Kid-friendliness: Restaurant accepts well behaved children"

"Covid made my first experience awkward. I also was in pain so this didn't help I was ten minutes late Sunday night and felt uncomfortable when told kitchen closes early after I apologised due to stress making me late.I came for relaxing time after work I ended up getting anxious . Food was delicious I understand businesses are doing it hard.. but service enthusiasm for a first time dine in would have made all the difference"

"I could wax lyrical about this place but that may be boring to people who don’t understand how good the food here really is. Unpretentious fabulously made food to a very high standard. "Before I flew back to manila after weeks of holiday, my son brought me to bushman’s grill. I asked him what's at the place and he said it was supposed to be the best steak house in northshore, auckland. when I got used to such fanfare, I ordered a rib eye scotch filet, boiled medium well. it was perfect with the small marble evenly distributed in the meat that was delicious and juicy! it's not just fanfare. Bushman’s grill is the best steakhouse in northshore, aukland is an actual thing."
