"The roti (first on the menu under Roti) was completely soft and butter-like and paired perfectly with the curry sauce. The Nasi Lemak and the Mee Goreng were delicious. Exactly the right amount of taste. The chicken was really well fried. The price was really cheap. Grief Highly recommended, will be back next time when we visit Sydney."

"Had a great lunch with my friends who come from overseas. This place is a perfect restaurant for chinese food lovers. It is a little bit busy at lunches, I would say you'd better make reservations."

"Staff miserable and unwelcoming . Worst food ever with little or no guidance as to what we were ordering until it came ! Out of 5 dishes only two were edible !! Will not be returning ! Staff need to be trained in customer care"

"We came here for the jamón canario with high expectations and it did not disappoint! The other tapas we had weren't great, but the jamón made up for it."

"This is the most consistent fried chicken joint in the city! Better than Cheers and Hot Star. It is even better for the fact that it is in a convenient location. I can go here for lunch and for dinner or for a drunken late night snack!

The meal deals are pretty decent and the milk tea is not bad. Cooking is a bit slow but that is because everything is made fresh. Prices are not bad either.

The only thing missing is getting me to dress as the Just Fry chicken!

**
My considerations: 1. Food 2. Value 3. Service 4. Atmosphere. All weighed evenly but Food/Value receive more weight when a tiebreaker is required!

My scale: Take note that this is of course all based on my unqualified opinion!

5: Extraordinary and should never be dished out easily.
4.5: The benchmark and I would travel to eat here.
4: Excellent. First option when making food plans.
3.5: Would settle here if I stumbled across it or it was busier elsewhere.
3: Average and not in a rush to come back.
2.5: Edible but not coming back.
2: Falling short of expectation in 3 of my 4 considerations.
1: They should shut up shop.
**"

"Get your Taiwanese fried chicken here! I was wandering along Bathurst Street when I came across Cheers Cut, a specialist Taiwanese fried chicken take out that was having its soft opening. 'Soft opening' was a new term to me but after Cheers Cut, I think it is shorthand for 'opening today, no idea what we're doing, please be patient and here's a 10% discount'. The service was really friendly and helpful in explaining the various options, and while the chicken took a little while, it was delicious and piping hot when it came. I haven't tried some of the other popular places such as Arisun or Hotstar but if they are anything like Cheers Cut I am going to have to remedy that - this fried chicken was a really big serving, juicy and tender and super more-ish."
