"Had a great coffee this morning so came back here for afternoon coffee. What a difference. Coffee was very hot but quite weak. This is why I generally go for ice coffee when I'm on the road as you know what you are getting. My colleague's experience was similar, good this morning, left it on the table this afternoon. Disappointment all around."

"I've never taken the view that food is simply fuel. It can be a profoundly pleasing experience. This business is run by Carlos and Karen Florenca and is well worth a visit when you have a little time to look around.You can do your shopping for fine foods and also have a meal. Among the groceries, try their easy to spread blue cheese and ask the girls to recommend something interesting on which to spread it. Their choice will delight you. Carlos is Portuguese and is a gourmet butcher. He has set the bar high, at excellence. The chef, Fabrizio, is Sicilian and one of the most conscientious cooks in town. He'll come and see you and find out whether his food was okay and that you enjoyed it.Just for the first time, before you get around to Carlos' espetada (giant flame-grilled kebabs) ask Fabrizio to make you his bacon and eggs. The toast is always different and quite delicious - usually a sourdough. The bacon will be grain fed and crisp.Take something home from the meat counter - try the Cumberland sausage and the Portuguese sausage.Maybe take your Mother there for a Mother's Day breakfast - she's going to love it and think you are so clever for finding this interesting spot."
