"This place should be closed to steal from customers. We went from Murren and wanted to stop for a drink and some food. We were bruised when we had asked if the place was open for food and we should have just continued on that point. We have a small coffee and soft drink and it came to 21CHF. This is a whole daylight robbery and theft. Don't go to this place. Spend your money elsewhere."

"So 5* is a bit exaggerated, but when the weather is nice it's a really spectacular place. The fries variations are cool and delicately prepared. But you have to love them... Otherwise not much choice, but if you know it, then ok. You just come for these fries! And the little chocolate desserts! They are very nice, it's worth stopping there just for a coffee and a chocolate maiden..."

"Stopped there on July 26th to buy a sandwich and some water. Went for a trip to Wengen. Wonderful day in the midst of alp flowers, just amazing. Stopped at noon for a lunch. The bought water was ok (6. each), the bought sandwiches just terrible. More than 48 hours old (dated 24.7.21), dry and felt and tasted like a sponge. Really bad. Will take our own sandwiches next time. The “bakery” at the Scheidegg restaurant: a place to avoid."

"I am not sure what constitutes good food in Switzerland, but I think the bar is set pretty low. I ordered the schnitzel and it was just ok, it was supposed to have a mushroom sauce but it was plain breaded pork. It came with rosti which again was nothing more than soggy hash browns. The Swiss cooks need to visit the American south to find out how to cook hash browns. Nothing to go out of your way here."
