"Small, but quite busy restaurant. We arrived at 9 pm and it still had a few free tables, bit it quickly filled up.We had the squid as an appetizer and the cataplana mar as the main. Really good food, exactly what I was expecting from a algarvian restaurant. The desserts, pudim de mel and delicia algarvia, were amazing."

"We went without reservation, our hotel said with only 2 people it would be good. The host rolled his eyes on us and then sat without tables or cutlery. (All the others sat with it) when the waitress came after 15 minutes and... I asked for a glass of wine instead of a bottle - my husband does not drink wine - the waitress seemed irritated and went. After another 15 minutes when she waited for other stories, we left. Service staff is so rude! We went instead to a delicious Italian place!"

"Simplicity. You pick your fish from the display or your (limited) choice of meat. They grill it, it comes with salad and chips if you want them. We also had half a litre of house wine. That’s it, nothing pretentious, picnic benches to sit on,...grilled right next to you, service was good, price was outstanding. I had T-bone steak, my partner had golden fish, I had an almond dessert and we had mls of unknown house wine. Total price Euro. Go with an open mind and don’t expect the world."

"Restaurant éloigné du bord de la mer mais de bons plats. Si vous aimez le poisson, c'est la ou il faut aller. Il est très frais et tout particulièrement le saumon et le bar. Je vous déconseille cependant la petite assiette de fromage ou de jambon fumé. Personnel très agréable avec un serveur qui parle bien français."
