"One of the famous fresh sea food restaurant in entire Mahabalipuram. It is located in a narrow street full of shops restaurants. This place is usually fully packed with tourists(Indians as well as foreigners). They have decent seating on ground...floor first floor(we prefer first floor with a nice view of the busy street). The staff is very courteous they first show you the fresh catch of the day cook according to your needs(in a meanwhile you can have a chilled beer in scorching heat enjoy the vibe of the place). The food is delicious and due to this reason many tourists stop at this place. This place comes in the way while going from Chennai to Pondicherry."

"Great views. Fish smelt bad. Toilets horrendous. We decided that eating here was a big risk so just had a drink. Waiters over friendly and claimed to have no change when we paid. We stuck it out and insisted they find some. Avoid it"

"This Restaurant is situated a bit before Mahabalipuram as you drive from Chennai. I have visited the Original Rahmath Border Parotta and that was an absolutely amazing experience. But this namesake restaurant did not live up to even the most basic expectations. The mutton biryani...was quite nice but there was only one small piece of mutton in it which made us wonder whether Khuska (plain biryani) had been brought by mistake. The veechu parotta cost 90 Rs and we had to use two hands to pull it apart, it was so rubbery. The plain parotta was just normal, nothing special about it. The naattu kozhi chicken gravy consisted of a little gravy and one big piece of chicken which was so hard that it was impossible to tear it with our hands. The mutton gravy was quite nice. The service was pathetic and though we made several requests for some glasses to pour our Pepsi, it was not fulfilled. Overall I will say it was quite a disappointing expereince, I will suggest that you can give this restaurant one try if you happen to visit Mahabalipuram."

"The place was a bit difficult to locate, but I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious May it was the pawns, the red sauce pasta or the Chana with parota. Excellent aromas. The desserts were amazing to the Nutella... cakes, the filter coffee cheesecake and even the Tender Coconut Payasam. Too bad we missed the Banoffe Pie. Last but not least, Liz was a fantastic host and made us feel at home. Thank you for a wonderful experience."

"We happened to visit this joint for a lunch with my family. Needless to say the food was so perfect and fresh. The 25 mins wait for for prep is worth waiting and all the staff were great at service putting customer experience on top....And it isn't not just your tummy fills up but your heart with love. Both kids and adults had same outcome. We had Calamari and Palmfred tawa fry with seafood noodles and parotta."

"L'amour restaurant Est un endroit très agréable avec Amin qui fait tout pour vous préparée de bon petit plats, peut être un peus long pour les preses mais les plats son préparée à la demande donc très frais. Un cadre agréable vue sur la rue avec un décor ensoleillé. monsieur Amin a le cœur pour le bio et connaît très bien les plantes qu'il introduit dans ces petit plats. J'ai passée de très bon moment dans cette endroit super petit déjeuné ."

"We have eaten here mostly breakfast but also dinner. The young couple who owns this place as well as the guesthouse attached, are very accommodating in every way. They prepare food to order and I have seen them go out of their way to prepare food for a group on very short notice and doing it very efficiently."
