"We always do delivery from Johns Noodle Village. I ordered chow mein .Ginger chicken is favorite of my kids.and chicken fried rice is good too.Fast delivery.Good service. One of the best restaurant in town."

"I came in a few minutes early before the restaurant was actually open. I was greeted with a kind and friendly waitress. I asked if it would be all right if I sat inside while she finished opening and she politely said yes. She also handed me the menu and Ireplied that I knew what I wanted. A medium bowl of the Wor Won Ton soup that was served to me within minutes hot and delicious.I ordered another one to bring home for my mother as we use to dine in and enjoy the Wor Won Ton. It is delicious and the bestin town. Thank you again for great customer service and a delicious bowl of Wor Won Ton Soup."

"I ordered take out at a later time which they had accommodated! Very pleased.When I got there I decided I didnt want the coke I ordered and the waitress gave me grief about the 1.95 (over priced) can of coke. She said I had to open the bag if I didnt want it any more.I figured maybe she had a long day and smiled - still tipped her too. Besides the lack of customer service skills the meal was prepared very quickly.The food was sub par, as most chinese food is in victoria. All of it is the same and nothing distinguishes one from another in regards to quality. Nothing is authentic, or cooked to say "hotel" standard.Anyways - I ordered combo for 2 - sweet and sour pork wasnt crispy - the chow mein which was their sun wah mein was decent! I actually enjoyed this.The chopped chicken and cashew chop suey now was rediculous. It was the weakest excuse for chop suey ive ever had. There werent any bean sprouts, zero egg, no cabbage -it was literally mirepoix (probably frozen) tossed with mushrooms, soggy chicken and salted cashews.My overall experience was displeasing and would have given one star - but i gotta give some credit for the speedy service. Wont be going back."

"Were were meeting up with a relative who lives in Victoria and recommended this diner. we had to wait a few minutes to get a seat. the place is quaint with many celebrity photos on the walls. The server was keen and friendly. My wife...and I ordered the BLTA. That's a BLT with avocado slices. Really good. Big sandwich! It also came with a tomato vegetable soup which was very good. I'd certainly go bac although the prices were a bit higher than expected. Must be expensive real estate."

"I thought the food was adequate and the portions were large. Prices were on the cheaper side and the place looked relatively clean. Their takeout is very good...seems like you get different food."
