"Terriben choice for a restaurant. actually our only bad experience in san jose this whole week! the hotel, the property, the property and the pool area are amazing, but the restaurant was terrible. three of us sat on a table for four in one. outside the corner without lighting. so dark that they brought us a flashlight. we asked ourselves to be moved instead of moving us to another empty four upper side that they moved us to a table for six! within minutes there was a party of six that was turned away because there were no seats for them. water glasses remained empty until the half was completed by the meal, drinks (two margaritas and a martini). eating was good, but quite expensive the most expensive of the week and overall, not worth it! that's a no!"

"This restaurant is absolutely amazing. From the moment that we walked in, we were treated with the best service by the best staff I have encountered in San Jose del Cabo. We were staying in Puerto Los Cabos, so this restaurant was very close to us, but if you are staying in San Jose, it is worth the extra effort to make it out to this amazing restaurant.I feel horrible for this restaurant, because the hurricane did a lot of structural damage to the neighboring hotel, causing it to close for reconstruction, therefore, they are not getting a lot of customers due to the lack of activity near this secluded sanctuary.The setting is absolutely gorgeous, you can eat outside in the garden, or under the huge palapa and near the bar.The food here was good. They grow a lot of the herbs and vegetables that they use in their dishes in the garden that is less than 10 feet from your table! I had a shrimp dish, which was tasty, but I would only recommend the pork chop. I stole a few bites from across the table, and it was honestly one of the best pork chops I have ever eaten. It was amazingly tender, lean, and delicious! The sauce was out of this world, 10/10, would recommend, at least have somebody in your party order it so you can have a few bites (it's a rather big portion).The highlight of the whole evening was the staff. Our waiter was amazing and personable, and taught us some spanish tongue twisters (Still practicing!). One of the most interesting parts of the atmosphere and restaurant is that they have lots of decor made out of recycled wine bottles. There is a gorgeous chandelier that is custom made out of wine bottles, and they water glasses are re-purposed wine bottles as well! We commented on how interesting they were, so after dinner they brought out the hot-glass cutter they use to make the glasses, and let us try our hand at making them. Then, they sanded down the edges of the glass, and sent us home with our very own set of four hand-made re-used wine bottle glasses. So cool! This was by far the best experience we had in all of our time in San Jose del Cabo, and we will not come back to Los Cabos without a visit to our friends at Los Milagros!"

"This restaurant located on the main avenue off the central plaza of old San José is a charming and reasonably priced option. There are fancier (and pricier) options nearby, but this place offers a certain quality that more old school tourist traps don't. Apparently much of the menu is sourced from a local affiliate ranch, including a range of artisanal cheeses that should be tried as an appetizer. I tried one that came with cilantro cream and fresh arugula that was very good. A signature dish is the octopus al ajillo, a well know local preparation with garlic and guajillo chile. For my taste the flavor was much too mild (maybe they cater to a certain kind of tourist palate). The dish comes with mixed vegetables and rice and is served over a banana leaf, in which I assume it was all roasted. Since this preparation brings out moisture and since ajillo is oil based, the final product is also greasier than I like. The dish was very good, but I think a carefully grilled and spicier octopus would be better, at least for my taste. I also tried a tamarind mezcal margarita that I enjoyed very much. Not cheap, but a generous serving. I was too full to try a dessert, but they offered a complimentary home made chocolate truffle that was wonderful. The garden seating is lovely and there is apparently live music many evenings. A very good option worth trying."

"We went to Haberneros based solely on the Trip Advisor ratings and the fact that we had a fantastic dinner the night before at a restaurant ranked one lower than this one. Outside of the service and the guacamole, we were sadly disappointed in our meal. We were a party of 4 and each ordered something different on the menu. Although the fajitas were fine, it came with very few shrimp and a TON of vegetables; the ribs, Filet Mignon and cheese cream filled chicken (can't remember the name, but tried it on suggestion of the waiter) were simply just OK. Considering what you pay here for this meal, I would suggest skipping this restaurant and choosing another in the same price range."

"Just didn't live up to expectations. Another reviewer said it well - the menu just didn't hang together. Some tastes were good but most were rather un-inspired. The steak was downright tough and dry. PS: And Flora Farms doesn't charge $5 per guest for a glass of water."
