"Most people don't even know this place is here. It's just off the square in Danville. It's in a bad place and parking is a little hard. But it is well worth it. I had the bread tenderloin and waffle fries they were both delicious. The tenderloin was bread well it was big but not huge but a little thicker than most. Service was good. The menu was a bar menu lot's of appetizer and burgers. They have a Bavarian pretzel on the menu says it's huge . That's something you don't see on a lot of menu's . The bathroom's have just been re done . It was clean. Not to busy for at least the taste of the food I had. I think that's because of the location. All in all it's well worth a try if you are in Danville and are hungry."

"We came in for out of town to visit the casino. Wanted a nice meal to start our day. Found Cotton at Riverside Mill and it sounded perfect. We were seated quickly at a booth that was crammed up against a wall and too small, we moved to a table near the window, which was much better. Our waiter came right over, took our drink order. Drink came and we ordered our meals. Two of us had a salad , the other two ordered a sandwich. 30 minutes later, one salad arrived. In a few minutes, another salad arrived. Five more minutes one sandwich arrived. Now the last person was without food. We asked about his sandwich and they admitted they had to remake it because they accidentally prepared it wrong. His meal came easily ten minutes later. The fries we undercooked and his sandwich was lackluster at best. The chef came over to apologize for the long wait. Must have been pretty common practice because he wasn’t bothered. Two salads and two sandwiches. An hour and a half. $50 plus tip per couple. Too slow to consider coming back. Poor service , if it continues, will kill this venue."

"The kids mac n cheese for my daughter was the stand out dish of the evening, that was very good. Jerk chicken was meh, though the rice was good. Not sure what was going on with the pork belly, it tasted of over fried, way too crunchy fat… no smokiness, no real flavor, no umami. A couple other highlights, waiting 15 minutes after we were seated for drinks, then only getting our two cocktails but the kids sodas did not arrive. My wifes Mule had a “Made in Bangladesh” sticker floating in it. Plenty of other places to go. Disappointing."
