"We like to stop here when we are in Kitsap County in our way from Kingston to Bainbridge. It is on Suquamish land near the Suquamish Longhouse. Wonderful view of the water! Service: fantasist service. Wait staff attentive to detail including if we were getting too much sun. Attentive to our water and iced tea refills. Food came pretty fast. We were seated outdoors fairly quickly. Food: pretty standard better than average. My kiddo loved his fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Spouse got one huge halibut taco. I got two halibut fish and sweet potato fries. Enjoyed my meal! Ambience: we sat outdoors. On a beautiful sunny day the view is beautiful from the patio!"

"Poorly managed area. The food is passable, meaning if you are hungry, it will satisfy your craving. However, the lack of stars specifically have to do with the two cash register employees, and the manager named RUBY at this area, experienced on Sunday evening 2/28/2021. From an outside view looking in, you can see that none of the employees are happy to be there including, the manager Ruby. (Though, this seems to be evident throughout the casino: from the floor waitresses, cashiers, security, to the table games staff). Back at Agate Pass Deli, first rule of customer service, show some form of happiness even if its disingenuous because customer service is all about projection. Second, as we were moving up in line, instead of stating next! for the next person in line, like a person at DMV how about, Can I help the next customer , I can take the next order or Next customer, please? This indirectly generates pleasantness and gratitude. Lastly, when a customer approaches register, a simple salutation, Can I take your order? or Welcome to Agate Pass , whatever, would be pleasant. Not just stand there and stare at the customer which is exactly what this young lady did. Including, remaining silent throughout the transaction with the exception of, Anything else? and the price of our meal. Again, pleasantry goes a long way. The excuse you will hear is the line was long or it was crowded however, I 've been to enough eateries which were crowded, that never lost sight of basic customer service. This manager, Ruby because that was on the name tag is responsible, because the employees under her are either poorly trained, poorly selected, or dislike the conditions imposed by the manager. There are no bad students, only bad teachers."
